SRND Group Ltd is opening the doors to something we’ve been talking about for a while: a place where you don’t just read about products, you feel them working together. An experience centre that shows – in one visit – what happens when great loudspeakers, intelligent lighting, acoustically considered interiors, projection and display hardware, digital art and proper production workflows are all on the same page.
SRND Experience Centre
This isn’t a showroom full of disconnected boxes. It’s a working environment designed for AV dealers, consultants, cinema designers and specifiers to bring clients to, or simply to visit themselves to understand what’s now possible.
Think of it as a proving ground for premium residential, light commercial and hospitality projects – only with the kit already dialled in.
Why we’ve built it
Most of you already know SRND Group as a manufacturer and solutions house that sits slightly on the engineering-obsessed side of the AV world. We build products because we need them in real projects – projection and mounting solutions under Display Technologies, pixel-controlled dynamic lighting under Light Walls, and now Pro-Fi, our line of discreet, high-performance loudspeakers and electronics built for spatial audio and premium interiors.
What we kept finding was this: integrators and specifiers were trying to sell experiences, but only had catalogues and spec sheets to hand. Clients would ask, “What does a 32-channel room actually do?” or “Will fabric walls make the room look too ‘cinema’?” or “Can we combine wellness content, digital art and a video call in the same space?” The answer to all of those is yes – but it’s so much easier to show than tell.
So we built a place to show it.
A single experience – not chopped into zones
You’ll notice when you visit that we’re not signposting everything as separate ‘zones’. Real projects aren’t like that. A high-end residence doesn’t have a sign saying “Media Zone” on one wall and “Wellbeing Zone” on another. Nor does a boutique hotel spa or a prestige boardroom. It’s all the same fabric, lighting, audio, display, control and content – just orchestrated differently.
So rather than walking you from area to area, we’ll take you through one continuous experience that flows. You’ll see the same products and technologies re-used in different ways. That’s the point. We want you to walk out thinking, “I can specify this in three different verticals without changing supplier.”
Here’s what that experience includes
Pro-Fi Spatial Media Room
32 channels of “oh wow”
The headline element for most visitors will be the Pro-Fi spatial media room. We’ve built it as a genuine 32-channel environment – not a token ‘immersive’ setup – so you can hear what happens when a room is properly mapped and the loudspeakers are voiced to work as a family.
Why 32 channels? Because more and more of you are being asked for:
premium home cinema and screening rooms with real seat-to-seat consistency,
media rooms that double as presentation or artist playback spaces,
and spatial audio for wellness, art and hospitality.
Pro-Fi loudspeakers are deliberately discreet – slim on-wall and architectural forms, billet-machined housings, BMR-based for off-axis clarity – so you can place them where the acoustics want them, not just where a grille will be tolerated. That gives you better imaging, better envelopment and far fewer “bad seats”. You’ll hear that straight away.
We’ll also have ready-to-load DSP profiles – the same ones we supply with Pro-Fi CloudAmp / PoE-Amp amplification – so you can see how commissioning can be fast and repeatable on site. For dealers, that’s margin protection. For consultants, that’s predictability.
Fabric Walls
The Secret Weapon
Most high-end rooms live or die on how well the acoustic treatment is hidden. We’ve built fabric walls into the experience so you can see how treatments, loudspeakers, cable management and service access can all disappear behind a clean, design-friendly finish.
This is huge for specifiers. You can bring an architect or interior designer and show them, in person, that an acoustically correct room doesn’t have to look like a studio. The fabric system also makes future upgrades and maintenance simpler – which is great if you’re supporting clients over years.
Display Technologies Products
Real-world mounting and Projection
Because SRND also owns Display Technologies Ltd, we’re able to show the structural side of AV – the mounts, projection solutions and support hardware that make the “nice” bit possible.
In the experience centre you’ll see:
how a projection or display can be integrated cleanly into a media environment,
how serviceable mounts make life easier for installers (and yes, we’ve allowed for maintenance access),
and how to keep everything within the architect’s footprint requirements.
This is a good place to bring clients who think “a screen is just a screen.” Once they see the mechanical engineering behind it, they understand the value.
Light as Content
One of the big differentiators for SRND is our work with dynamic, pixel-controlled lighting. Inside the experience centre, lighting isn’t just on/off or warm/cool – it’s part of the show.
We’ll take you through scenes that:
match the media content,
shift the perceived size and mood of the room,
and support wellness or digital art playback.
This is exactly what’s being specified in premium residential, spas, hospitality, galleries and even high-end offices. If you’re already doing lighting control, this will give you a clear route to upsell into dynamic lighting without having to reinvent your supply chain.
This part of the experience is for the integrators and production-minded people who are moving beyond simple playback. We’ve included a spatial audio production suite so you can see how content can actually be made for the kind of 32-channel environment we’re demonstrating next door.
Why is that important? Because more of your clients are commissioning content – for brand spaces, for hospitality, for wellness, for art. If you can show them that SRND has a route from “idea” to “produced, spatially mapped content”, you become far more than a hardware supplier. You become part of their experience strategy.
It also lets us showcase monitoring, room calibration and workflow – all things that matter to technical specifiers.
The Non-Cinema Use Cases
We know a lot of you are being asked to do more than ‘just’ cinema rooms. Luxury clients want experiences they can use every day – not just on movie night. That’s why the experience centre also includes digital art and wellbeing modes.
Digital art: high-resolution visual pieces supported by audio and lighting so the room becomes a gallery-like space. Ideal for clients who collect digital work or want to present brand content.
Wellbeing: calming audio textures, biophilic lighting scenes, media that supports relaxation or recovery. This is a growing application in spa, medical and high-end residential. Showing it live makes it real.
You’ll be able to see how the same infrastructure – speakers, lighting, displays, control – supports all these modes. That’s gold when you’re justifying a premium budget.
Because Projects Don't End at Installation
We’ve also made space for production facilities. This is partly for our own ongoing R&D, but it’s also to demonstrate to visiting partners that content, tuning, testing and documentation can all be handled under one roof.
For you, that means:
- easier demonstrations to your end-clients,
- faster iteration if something needs tweaking for a particular space,
- and a partner (us) who is already geared up for custom or semi-custom work.
It shows that SRND isn’t just selling boxes – we’re producing the ecosystem around them.
Who should visit?
This centre has been built for:
- AV dealers and installers who want to add higher-ticket, experience-led solutions to their portfolio.
- Consultants and specifiers who need to show architects, interior designers or end-clients what “good” actually looks and sounds like.
- Residential cinema and media room designers who need to move from 7.1.4-style thinking to high-channel-count spatial rooms.
- Hospitality / spa / wellbeing project teams who need real demos of dynamic lighting and immersive content.
- Brand and digital art people who want to see what a technically correct AV space can add to their work.
If you’re used to explaining to a client what 32 channels, fabric walls, dynamic lighting and a serviceable display infrastructure will do for them, this visit will make your life easier. You can say, “It’s like the SRND room,” and they’ll get it.
How to Use it with your Clients
We’re happy for you to treat the experience centre as an extension of your own capability.
- Book a visit with us.
- Bring your client, designer or project manager.
- Tell us the type of project you’re working on (cinema, spa, office, hospitality, high-end residential).
We’ll tune the demo to that use case so they see something recognisable.
You walk away with a better-informed client and a stronger case for a premium specification
