MIRS - Modular Isolated Room System

The Modular Isolated Room System - MIRS, from SRND Group, is the fastest and most reliable sound isolation for high SPL environments. MIRS fully implements the MAID room design approach  -  MAID Framework Explained

MIRS delivers a sound isolation performance of Rw 45db when used with a single leaf sound isolated door system. All system components have been specified to extend the isolation performance to the lowest frequency range.

MIRS uses an aluminium profile framing system that is pre-assembled in our factory to create a strong, accurate frame that is quick and easy to install on-site. Compared to competing solutions, the profile dramatically simplifies the integration of isolation components and minimises the wall build-up depth.

• Aluminium framing for walls/ceilings - factory assembled 
• Floor framing
• Isolation wall clips, ceiling hangers and floor mounts
• Isolation shell layer of HDF, damping membrane and board - factory assembled
• Flooring shell layer of HDF, damping membrane and cement board - factory-assembled
• Fixtures and fittings for assembly

Optional Components

• Penetration back box units for cable entry

The MIRS system is created in a modular way for shipping and installation. The installation of the MIRS system is not included but is simple to achieve using the provided drawings and guides.
